• Get car-cleaning equipment from storage locker. This includes protective covers for shoes and dust mask.
• Clean hatch rim and hatch lid.
• Inspect car for excessive mold and odor
• Clean car ceiling and walls.
• Use vacuum to rid flour in car
• Examine interior of car for anything that might damage the integrity of the load.
• Account for and store all equipment used in cleaning process
• Verify railcar is properly sealed and document with date and signature on appropriate form.
• Empty vacuum and carts after shift.
• Clean assigned areas as designated by Master Sanitation Schedule.
• Work closely with Bulk Loader and cover position if/when needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.Successful Team Members Are:
