RELOCATION ASSISTANCE WILL BE OFFERED***TOUCHMARK ON SADDLE DRIVE IN HELENA, MONTANA IS LOOKING FOR AN EVENT DIRECTOR.Salary starts at $58,000 based on experience*Some holiday and weekend events may require additional availability*No late nightsWhat does a Senior Living Events Director do? You will spend your day enriching the lives of residents, future residents, and families by overseeing the planning and implementation of an activities and wellness program that will meet the physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs of residents. You will partner closely with our Executive Director and our Retirement Counselors as they work with future residents joining our community. You will play a large part in helping to define the culture at the community, as you will be identifying groups of residents and prospective future residents who have similar interests and planning regular social events accordingly. These events will give residents and future residents the opportunity to meet new friends and neighbors. You will spend a significant amount of your time brainstorming and coordinating ideas for trips and tours, organizing transportation, and developing relationships. You will have the unique opportunity to continue to foster the sense of community that you have a large hand in creating!Our ideal team member will: Possess a Bachelors degree in a field related to Health and Wellness and 2 years of experience leading a Senior Retirement Life Enrichment program, or a combination of education and experience. Have experience working in a leadership position that demonstrates the ability to plan, direct, supervise, and facilitate the Life Enrichment Program with integrity, empathy, and resourcefulness. Be well versed in the Microsoft Office Suite and have experience and ability to learn organization-specific software. Have a creative spirit and the desire to work with older adults. Have a unique talent for creating and coordinating social events that bring people together. Possess a genuine interest and enthusiasm for the health and well-being of aging adults including those with Alzheimers and dementia and have knowledge of the psycho-social perspectives of older adults.
