This pivotal role focuses on providing efficient and safe transportation of products and supplies, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining the highest safety standards. Working within our tailored logistics solutions framework, this position is crucial for the seamless execution of our supply chain processes. Safely operate a tractor-trailer/truck to transport goods, materials, or equipment to and from specified destinations. Assist with loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring safety and integrity of the freight. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any issues or discrepancies. Adhere to all company policies, DOT regulations, and safety standards. Maintain logs of travel and cargo according to federal and state regulations. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing the company in a professional manner. Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure efficient route planning and timely deliveries. Strong driving skills with the ability to maneuver large vehicles in tight spaces. Excellent time management to meet delivery schedules. Knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELDs). Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, pushing, and pulling loads. Capacity to follow instructions and operate in a team environment.
