Position Details: Sign on Bonus Available: Up to $20,000 RN Student Loan Forgiveness for Graduate RN's PTO Frontload available for Experienced RN's 4D Cardiac Surg Intermediate: 4D is an intermediate ICU otherwise called a Progressive Care Unit. The unit includes a 28 bed fully monitored unit. We provide high acuity care to critically ill post-operative cardiothoracic, vascular patients, and medical overflow. Common therapies seen on 4D are chest tubes management, lytic therapy, antidysrhythmic, low dose vasopressors, Bipap and high flow oxygen systems, insulin drips, and precedex. 4D works closely with Neuro Trauma PCU and ICUs for opportunities to cross train between departments. We are part of the Critical Care Cluster, which includes all ICUs and PCUs. 4D offers you the chance to deliver compassionate care in a setting that is busy, team oriented, and fulfilling. Learning opportunities are endless and team members are dedicated to mentoring. Career path programs are available to transition into ICU units with an 18-month track. Qualifications: Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN). Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements. Certifications: - Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Additional certifications may be required based on the position/unit hired to, or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe. Physical Requirements: • Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis. • Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift. • Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
