Details - Med/Surg setting with floating required between two Med/Surg units (Floor 1 and Floor 4) - Scope of care includes ortho, surgical, stroke, cardiac, respiratory, dialysis, and hospice patients across a 36-bed unit - Patient ratios range from 1:5–7 depending on acuity - Night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM - EMR: Cerner - 13-week contract Requirements - Active MO RN license or compact RN license currently in hand — no pending licenses - Current BLS certification required (must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start) - Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required - Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible - No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months - Valid driver's license required for consideration Additional Information - Royal blue scrubs required - RTO requests must be less than one week in duration, with a maximum of 36 hours unless otherwise discussed - May be required to work Easter, Mother's Day, or Memorial Day - Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position - Blocked scheduling requests will be considered but are not guaranteed - No interviews — this is an auto-offer position American Traveler Job ID P-677383.
