Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Physical Therapist - Discipline: Therapy - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Days, 5x8hrs - Hours: 40 hrs/wk - Start Date: Mar 30, 2026 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least one year of LTC or rehab experience and a MO license for a weekday day shift position. Details - Work in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility rehab setting - Day shift, Monday through Friday, with flexible start times between 6AM and 10AM - No weekend or on-call requirements Requirements - Minimum 1 year of experience as a PT required - Experience required in a LTC or SNF rehab setting - Active Missouri PT license required; compact licenses accepted - New graduates considered with Level II experience (not just Level I observation) - Active certifications required at time of consideration - One professional reference required for consideration Additional Information - Responsible for screening, evaluating, and rehabilitating patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care - Develop and adjust plans of care, administer therapeutic procedures, and assess progress in accordance with regulatory and clinical standards - Document all required clinical information in the electronic documentation system - Participate in required meetings, including patient care conferences, utilization review, and rehabilitation meetings - Supervise and support PTAs, rehab aides, and students when needed - Adhere to professional practice acts and code of conduct set by APTA and the state - No more than 7 days of requested time off will be considered American Traveler Job ID P-669011.
