Details - Long term care (LTC) / skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting - Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts with flexible start times between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM, as agreed upon with the Director of Rehabilitation - 35 hours per week - No weekend or on-call requirements - 13-week contract Requirements - Minimum 1 year of PT experience required; new graduates with Level II clinical experience will be considered - LTC or SNF setting experience required - Active Missouri state PT license required; compact license accepted - License required if applicable - 1 professional reference required for consideration Additional Information - Responsibilities include screening, evaluating, and treating patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care needs, and developing individualized plans of care - Administers manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, ambulation training, modalities, assistive/supportive devices, and wound care as part of rehabilitation - Monitors and documents patient progress, treatment outcomes, and discharge summaries in accordance with regulatory and clinical standards - Provides consultation and education to patients, families, caregivers, and other care team members regarding physical disorders and treatment plans - Participates in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation team meetings - May supervise physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students - Must adhere to APTA standards and state practice acts, including code of conduct and ethics - No more than 7 days of RTO may be requested American Traveler Job ID P-680144.
