Performs patient access duties i.e. patient check in and appointment setting for the Provider's office to support patient care delivery and follow up. All medical tasks will be performed per the direction of the clinic nurse or Provider.This position works under the supervision of the Clinic Manager and under the direction of the provider and/or nurse and is employed by Mosaic Life Care.DutiesInterviews patient and documents patients response in the medical record according to standard.Administers and documents prescribed medications (oral, intramuscular, intradermal, subcutaneous, inhaled, drops) and treatments in accordance with organizational standards.Observes, records, and reports patients response to medications and treatments to provider(s).Performs clinic procedures including but not limited to EKGs, Snellen Eye Testing, regular and pediatric E-chart, Bone Density Testing (DEXA), Incentive Spirometry, Ear Lavage, apply/changes dressing including wound care, staple removal, etc .Cleans and maintains patient care areas including the examination room and equipment to ensure a sanitary, safe, and organized facility.Arranges for patient referral testing at other facilities or specialty care.Other duties as assignedQualificationsH.S.
