This unique role blends clinical leadership, program development, and a deep commitment to integrating expressive arts therapies into trauma-informed care.If you're an entrepreneurial spirit ready to shape an innovative program and lead the development of a community Arts Center focused on healing, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do: - Build & Lead: Architect and direct a sustainable, integrated behavioral health program tailored for a rural FQHC setting.
- Innovate with Arts: Champion, implement, and oversee creative/expressive arts therapies (art, music, drama, poetry, etc.) as core components of trauma treatment and holistic wellness.
- Inspire Your Team: Recruit, supervise, and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of clinical excellence, compassionate care, and enthusiasm for arts-based healing.
- Drive Sustainability: Ensure program viability through effective financial management, operational oversight, and strategic planning.
- Engage the Community: Forge partnerships and spearhead the development of a downtown Arts Center as a hub for healing and outreach.
- Ensure Quality: Utilize data and outcomes to continuously improve services.
What You Bring: - PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology & MO license eligibility.
- Minimum 3 years of post-doctoral leadership experience (program development, clinical supervision, operational/financial oversight).
- Demonstrated expertise in trauma-informed care principles and practice.
- Required: Significant experience AND formal training/certification in utilizing creative/expressive arts therapies (e.g., ATR-BC, REAT, CMT, RDT, or equivalent). Must have a clear philosophy and practical expertise in applying these modalities, especially with trauma.
- Proven success leading and inspiring clinical teams in innovative environments.
- Strong understanding of, and experience working within, rural healthcare settings.
- Entrepreneurial drive and ability to build new initiatives effectively.
- Deep alignment with holistic, integrative, and arts-centered philosophies of healing.
