Catalent Pharma Solutions in Kansas City, MO is hiring a Senior Facilities Engineer role. The Senior Facilities Engineer provides engineering support and technical expertise for the Clinical Development and Supply (CDS) business, including all aspects of the facility's mechanical and electromechanical piping system (water supply, compressed air, plant steam, waste treatment, Life Safety, and Clean Utilities operationsThis is a full-time role position: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm.Catalent is a global, high-growth, public company and a leading partner for the pharmaceutical industry in the development and manufacturing of new treatments for patients worldwide. Our talented team has over 25 years of experience providing analytical services for stand-alone and integrated biologics projects.Catalent is committed to a Patient First culture through excellence in quality and--compliance, and to the safety of every patient, consumer, and Catalent employee.--The Role - Provides support on equipment and systems, including BMS/EMS, HVAC, and electrical infrastructure, while interacting with other Facility and Maintenance team members with regards to these areas
- Serves as a SME/S (Subject Matter Expert/Specialist) in the department, providing support to the department's efforts in implementing effect maintenance work and project plans
- Assists in the oversight of hourly Maintenance employees as directed by leadership, providing technical training and development when warranted
- Interacts with contractors to ensure maintenance and repair services are performed to specified requirements and safety protocols
- Plans, schedules, coordinates, and provides follow-up on activities and projects to be carried out by maintenance functions, ensuring completion within set budgets and timelines
- Conducts Quality Assurance related investigations as needed and provides support to ensure timely completion of any related action items
- Provides safety work permits and verifies staff and contractor training on Safety Health & Environmental procedures in collaboration with the EHS department
- Ensures adherence to all safety SOPs when executing maintenance activities

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering or science related discipline with 5+ years of pharmaceutical or closely related experience required. An equivalent combination of education and work-related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience in project implementation plans and mechanical aptitude highly desired
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills with internal and external customers, peers and managers.
- Well organized with ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
