Position Summary:Primary responsibility is to provide quality installations, inspections, fabrication maintenance and rpairs of hoist and crane equipment. Breakdowns will require troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical components and circuits.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Inspect overhead industrial cranes and hoists to verify safety and compliance with manufacturer, OSHA and ANSI standardsTroubleshoot and repair material handling equipmentTroubleshoot and repair electrical equipment (strong knowledge of motor skills)Perform scheduled preventative maintenance activities on equipmentSupport customers by effectively interfacing with customer and office in repairing equipment as neededEvaluate and make recommendations regarding required repairsProvide a high level of communication with both office and customers of repairs performed, future needs, equipment id, etc.Take home truck, current model vehicles, DOT registerSkills and Knowledge:Good mechanical and electrical skills requiredMinimum one to five years of work experience with similar types of equipment in a manufacturing environmentMachining and welding skills are a plusYou will need to pass drug test and periodic drug testsCurrent driver's license and safe driving record is requiredHigh School Diploma or equivalent is requiredWe require you take a mechanical, electrical and a basic knowledge testWork Environment Considerations:Work various environments and working conditions depending on assignmentOccasional overtime requiredOccasional out of town work requiredWork is at heightsSome heavy lifting requiredUpdated Expanded Benefit Package:Medical Health/Dental/Vision InsuranceFlexible Spending Account (FlexSystem)Uniforms daily401k matching planPaid holidays 80 PTOMonthly safety trainingOut of town per diemOvertime and double time Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
