Responsibilities: --- Welcome and support inbound customer calls in a friendly and professional manner according to established call center protocols and quality standards --- Listen attentively and respond to customer inquiries regarding their Vehicle Service Contracts --- Utilize problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify potential contract cancellation causes and present potential solutions to retain customers --- Accurately provide information on coverage plans, terms, pricing, and any available incentives or promotions --- Process customer contract adjustments, renewals, and cancellations in accordance with set procedures --- Promote collaboration with team members, supervisors, and other departments to resolve customer issues and improve the customer experience --- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes related to Vehicle Service Contracts --- Fulfill individual and team performance objectives, including call quality, average handling time, and customer retention targets Qualifications: --- High school diploma or equivalent --- Experience in a customer service or call center position focusing on customer retention --- Excellent verbal communication abilities with a professional telephonic manner --- Active listening skills and the capacity to empathize with customers --- Capacity to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment while handling high call volumes --- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in using customer service software and databases --- Knowledge of Vehicle Service Contracts or familiarity in the automotive industry is a plus --- Problem-solving capabilities and a customer-oriented approach to inquiries Compensation: $15 - $17 hourly + commission
