Overview:

Due to growth, Southern Physical Therapy Clinic is now hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist for an Outpatient position in Picayune, MS. The majority of the caseload for this role will be pediatrics-focused. Full-time is preferred. OTs with part-time or PRN availability will also be considered.

Caseload / Patient Population:

The Occupational Therapist will see a caseload of general orthopedics, neurological cases, hand and upper extremity cases, all ages, but will be mostly treating pediatrics. This is a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting that incorporates Occupational Therapy (OT), Physical Therapy (PT), and Speech-Language Pathology (SLP).

Most full-time OTs complete 45-55 visits per week.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday. No weekends, no holidays! Within this role, you will enjoy an excellent work / life balance. The schedule can be flexible based on the needs of the candidate hired.

The clinic hours are Monday - Thursday: 7 am - 6 pm, and Friday: 7 am - 12 pm.

Compensation and Benefits:

Occupational Therapists are paid a competitive hourly rate based on experience. A brand-new grad can expect to receive an hourly rate in the ballpark of $32 per hour. The compensation package will increase based on the experience of the candidate hired.

There is a bonus program available based on individual performance.

Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, and a retirement plan. Professional development is encouraged and includes reimbursement for CEUs.



1. Eligible for Mississippi state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.

2. No experience required - New grad OTs will be considered. There is mentorship and training available.

3. Full-time availability is preferred. Part-time and/or PRN candidates with 16 hours and two weekdays of availability per week will also be considered.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate has an enthusiastic drive to provide the best patient experience possible. We prefer an Occupational Therapist who is comfortable building relationships with patients to promote positive outcomes and continuity of care. The clinician should have an interest in working with the pediatric population.
