We are looking for a talented Senior Project Manager to join our ROCKWOOL team in Byhalia, MS. In this position, you'll lead the development, planning, organization, coordination, and execution of projects, ensuring they adhere to agreed-upon scopes, timelines, and economic parameters. What you will be doing: As a Senior Project Manager, you will manage project planning including capturing and maintaining data for each project disciplines using guidelines, standards, templates, and a project status report. You will be developing a project scope and maintaining a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) that outlines all necessary activities. You will also track costs for each activity through a detailed budget, while resources required for each investment are identified. You will establish an effective communication plan to engage stakeholders, determine communication frequency, and address deviations from the project plan. As well as ensure logistics are carefully planned to ensure timely delivery of components and activities. You will proactively identify watch procurement requirements to ensure the seamless adherence to project timelines and budgets. Your methodology should entail a thorough risk assessment for every project activity, accompanied by robust contingency plans to effectively address any unforeseen challenges that may arise. What you bring: - Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 2-4 years in a manufacturing plant with Project Management experience.
- Strong experience working with automated systems/conveyors.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Strong experience with MS Office products.
- Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, Project
- Excellent Leadership skills.
- Experience and knowledge of sound employee relations.
- Must be able to stand/walk on concrete floors for 5 or more hours a day.
- Must be able to work in high temperatures, in excess of 100 - Fahrenheit continuously.
- Plant environment will be dusty with airborne wool particles.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced high volume production facility.
- Some lifting, bending, stooping, walking up/downstairs. What we offer:
