Job Description: Under supervision, functions as a member of a team utilizing equipment and services. Sets up, operates and monitors specialized equipment and supplies utilized for cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures. Functions as assistant to cardiologist or surgeons during catheter-based and devise implant procedures. Education Qualifications: We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Cardiovascular Technologist to join our Cath Lab team in a rural hospital setting in Brainerd. Our program supports a 24/7 STEMI service, providing lifesaving care to our community and surrounding regions, and relies on a strong, collaborative team environment. Duties/Responsibilities: Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including emergent STEMI cases. Prep patients and equipment for procedures Monitor patient status throughout procedures Ensure a safe, efficient workflow in a fast-paced environment. This position also includes participation in an on-call rotation to sup port our 24/7 coverage. Qualifications: Must be a graduate of a Radiology Technology, Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent program. If not a graduate of above programs must have 4yrs of direct cath lab experience Licensure/Certification Qualifications: Certification/Licensure: Must be currently registered Radiological Technologist or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or must become RT(R) or RCIS certified within 18 months of hire or transfer Current Certification (or within 1 month of hire) as American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or within 6 months of hire) Employee Benefits at Essentia Health Health Coverage: Medical, dental, and vision insurance options to ensure employees' well-being.
