For additional information, visit us at www.wipro.com.Job DescriptionRole PurposeThe purpose of this role is to provide significant technical expertise in architecture planning and design of the concerned tower (platform, database, middleware, backup etc) as well as managing its day-to-day operations.ResponsibilitiesSupport in architecture planning, migration & installation - Lead the structural/architectural design of platforms, middleware, databases, and backups to ensure scalable and extensible solutions.
- Conduct capacity planning based on current and future requirements.
- Leverage new features of underlying technologies for optimal performance.
- Implement disaster recovery and backup plans.Manage daily operations
- Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and develop fixes.
- Oversee upgrades, migrations, maintenance, backup, and configuration.
- Review performance and optimize as needed.
- Develop shift rosters and create/update SOPs and operational manuals.
- Provide weekly status reports and develop service improvement plans.Team Management
- Forecast talent needs, hire, and train team members.
- Ensure onboarding and training compliance, build internal talent pools, and promote diversity.
- Set goals, conduct performance reviews, and facilitate employee engagement initiatives.Deliverables
