Brookside Senior Living is hiring Part-Time or On-Call Caregivers (HHA or CNA) to join our team! -We will train for these positions! -We are proud of our staff to patient ratio that -allows us to provide that kind of quality of care for our residents. We are looking for Caregivers that can work long-term, not just for the Summer.There is a -Part-Time, benefit eligible position available working a varied schedule including every other weekend and holiday. Night (NOC) Hours: 10:00pm to 6:30amThere is a -On-Call/ Casual -position available. We are looking for someone who has the flexibility to work on any shift. Hours, days, and shifts would be variable. Shift -Hours: -6:00am to 2:30pm, 2:00pm to 10:30pm, 10:00pm to 6:30amPay Range: -$17 to $24 / hour depending on experienceWhat does a Caregiver do?

• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the RN.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
• Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.What does a Caregiver require?
  • Current Minnesota Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate preferred but not required.
  • Home Health Aide (HHA) experience required.
  • Intends to work long-term and not just for the summer.
  • Must be punctual, with a good attendance record.Benefits:
