Factory IT Supervisor - Minneapolis Minnesota

Description Overview: We are seeking an experienced Factory IT Supervisor. This role is focused on modernizing all of the infrastructure and technology in place at the Minneapolis, MN factory. This person should be well-versed in manufacturing factory environments and be able to lead from a strategy perspective to help roadmap implementations but also be hands-on when needed. This team runs lean, so being able to step in to provide support when needed will be a must-have.Location: Hybrid 4 Days Onsite - Minneapolis, MNResponsibilities:

Support Operations growth through Stable Factory IT systems

Maintain and improve the IT technical systems of the Factory

Primary Point of Contact for Factory IT issues & day-to-day Factory Operations team's IT requirements

Preventive Maintenance Planning

Coordination of Software updates/Patches on Shop Floor Machines

Documentation of standard procedures for support of IT-related operations in manufacturing and distribution for new and existing processes

Coordinate with Third Party Vendor Support for Factory Applications & Devices as needed

Coordinate with Corporate IT Shared Services Support as needed to ensure seamless support for operations

Project Management for Factory Digital transformation / Factory 4.0 projects in coordination with Det-Tronics Operations leadership and Det-Tronics IT leader

Understand Factory technology needs; communicate ideas to functional and technical leaders for implementation and development

Provide timely and advance communications to cross-functional teams on technology system changes related to the Factory Operations

Ability to adjust and adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment

Reporting to Det-Tronics IT LeaderRequired Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED
5+ years minimum of experience supporting manufacturing information technology in a manufacturing environmentPreferred Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree
- Experience in a manufacturing environment with assembly lines requiring extensive testing and calibration
- Good oral and written communication skills when interacting with factory personnel and ability to articulate issues and requirements to internal & external support teams
- Highly motivated with the ability to take ownership of IT issues and requirements and follow through to conclusion
- Clear knowledge and understanding of network topology LAN, WAN and Wireless Technologies
- Hands-on IT skills/experience in scripting & troubleshooting applicationsBenefits:
