Join a Fast-Paced, Growth-Focused Team! We're looking for a Purchasing/Buyer to join our dynamic team, where you'll play a key role in ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and products critical to our operations.

Location: Onsite - Warehouse Office - New Ulm, MN 56073

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM - OT may be available

Type: Temp-to-Hire

Pay: $26/HR - Pay Increase Upon converting to a full time employee

Full-Time PPE Required: Steel Toe or Composite Safety Shoes

What You'll Be Doing:
--- Source, purchase, and manage both stock and non-stock materials in alignment with company strategy.
--- Use SAP and the GAINS application daily to manage inventory forecasts and replenishment.
--- Communicate and negotiate with vendors to ensure product quality, delivery timeliness, and resolve discrepancies.
--- Track and expedite purchase orders, managing returns and replacements when necessary.
--- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure procurement aligns with demand.
--- Maintain accurate documentation and vendor relationships for long-term success.
--- Once hired full-time, participate in an on-call rotation.

What We're Looking For:
--- Experience over degrees - proven purchasing experience is key!
--- MRO purchasing experience? Huge plus.
--- SAP experience is required.
--- Strong computer skills: daily use of Excel and Word.
--- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
--- Ability to manage time, multitask, and work independently.
--- Comfortable working onsite in a warehouse office environment.
--- Safety-conscious - steel/composite toe shoes required.

Bonus Points:
--- Familiarity with GAINS or similar inventory systems.
--- Previous exposure to high-volume or industrial supply chains.
--- Certification such as CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager) is a plus. What's in It for You:
