HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALISTHOURS:8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, flexible as requiredSaturday hours as neededWill be required to cover other shifts as needed JOB DESCRIPTION:Responsible for benefits on time new hire enrollmentResponsible for Benefits Annual enrollmentConducts benefits orientation for new hiresHandles insurance issues with vendors and employeesConduct Unemployment HearingsResponds in a timely manner to employee problems, questions and concernsAdministers all employee relations issues. Processes and implements formal disciplinary action of employees, initiates termination procedures and terminates employees as neededPrepares and maintains records and procedures for controlling personnel transactions and reporting personnel data. Maintains HRIS integrityOther duties as needed or requiredQUALIFICATIONS:Excellent written and verbal communications skills- Including phone etiquetteSelf-StarterMust be able to demonstrate effective people skillsTeam PlayerComputer skills and knowledge of basic office software necessaryGood AttendanceBilingual preferred but not requiredTrustworthy
