When you join the Summit Family, youll see exactly why.Position Overview:As the Athletic Trainer on our team, youll use your full scope of skills to provide clinical support in the provision of quality orthopedic care and treatment of patients. Youll work hand in hand with physicians and advanced practice providers; and work with local high school and community partnerships.This role is for a full-time opportunity and it will provide primary support to a sports medicine operative physician team. Primary location will be at our Woodlake Campus in Woodbury, MN with flexibility to float to other locations as needed. Scheduled day hours 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (subject to change) Monday - Friday. Hours are approximate/ estimated based on team or clinic needs.**Eligible for $5,000 sign-on bonus**How Youll Help Enrich Patients Lives:Room patients, obtain patient health histories, and perform initial and secondary assessments of patients.Document patient information and care provided in patients medical record.Complete forms and documentation needed by patients, employers, or insurance companies.Assessment of post-operative wounds and provide standardized instruction in wound care.Provide standardized patient education instructions, verbal or written.Act as liaison between the patient/family and physician and as a resource to clinical staff in answering orthopedic-related questions.Travel to and provide coverage to any of Summits outreach clinical locations and/or indoor or outdoor athletic events, as assigned.Clean and stock patient exam rooms.What We Desire:Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training (Newly graduated applicants will be considered)Current BOC certification with the Board of Certification for the Athletic TrainerMust be licensed, and in good standing, with the MN Board of Medical PracticeOne or more years as an ATC in orthopedic/clinical settingSummit Ortho Total Rewards401K with profit sharing contributionComprehensive Medical, Dental, & Vision BenefitsFlexible Spending Accounts (FSA)Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Gym membership discountsEducation ReimbursementHome & Auto Insurance policy discountsAbout Summit OrthopedicsWhat we have here at Summit is special.
