As a Heavy Equipment Operator at Duininck, you will play a vital role in safely operating and maintaining various equipment at maximum production levels. This position offers opportunities for learning, growth, and advancement within a company deeply committed to building strong communities. Please note that this role requires a willingness to travel throughout Central and Western Minnesota, Northern Iowa, and Eastern Dakotas. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Safely operates medium to heavy equipment.
- Works closely with other crew members using hand signals to coordinate work and ensure safety.
- Performs daily inspection and maintenance and ensures that equipment is in safe, proper working order including fluid checks and proper lubrication.
- Notifies supervisor when equipment needs maintenance and repair.
- Keeping equipment clean and preparing equipment for transport on flatbed when needed.
- Maintain orderliness, cleanliness, and safety at the job site.
- Follow the Supervisor's instructions closely.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Understand the basics of mechanical equipment's.
- Experience running heavy equipment is required.
- Understand and adhere to all safety regulations.
- Understand and adhere to the Personal Protection Equipment requirements.
- An unwavering focus on safety.
- OSHA
- Willingness to travel throughout Central and Western Minnesota, Northern Iowa and Eastern Dakotas.
