All mandated persons are required to show proof of vaccination or have received an exemption from River's Edge through the prescribed exemption process for disability, medical, or religious reasons.ResponsibilitiesAll personnel in this position are responsible for performing excellent quality diagnostic radiography and CT imaging exams under the direction of a radiologist or referring provider, and taking call for weekend procedures. Certain individuals will also be accountable for delegated areas of authority, maintaining quality assurance and quality control records, training new imaging department personnel or radiologic technology students or serving on specific hospital committees as requested. Additional education/certification may be required for specific radiographic modalities such as mammography.QualificationsEducation and degree required from an accredited radiology program. License/Certification: ARRT in radiography, or obtains certification within 9 months of hire. Experience with patient care. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience and competency in radiographic diagnostic procedures, including but not limited to general radiographic exams including and special procedures, surgical (C-Arm) exams, portable exams, trauma exams and CT preferred but not required.
