Join Ridgeview and Unlock Your Potential as a Registered Nurse (RN) - Float As a Registered Nurse (RN)- Float Pool in Waconia, you will be responsible for delivering individualized patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Minimum Education/Work Experience for a Registered Nurse (RN) - Float Graduate of an accredited school of nursing RN - Float Pool License/Certifications: Current professional nurse licensure in Minnesota or if licensed in another state, a permit from the Minnesota Board of Nursing while the license application is in process BLS Certification ACLS TNCC or successful completion of trauma education that meets the requirements of the state trauma system within one year of hire RN Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing Knowledge/Skills/Abilities for a Float Registered Nurse Demonstrate critical thinking and decision making Ability to work autonomously and as a team Capable of making independent decisions with the use of good critical thinking and problem solving skills Ability to work and multi-task in a high stress and fast paced environment Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populations Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above Your Role: As a nurse, you'll be at the forefront of healthcare, assessing patient health problems and needs. Your key responsibilities will include: Assessing patient health problems needs and developing, implementing and evaluating patient care plans accordingly. Providing nursing care. Advising and educating patients, family members and significant others on health maintenance and disease prevention for the patient. Documenting and maintaining accurate medical records and reports. Participating in quality improvement activities as appropriate to position. Serving as a patient advocate in seeking appropriate community resources to meet patient needs.
