  As a Heavy Equipment Operator at Duininck, you will play a vital role in safely operating and maintaining a variety of equipment at maximum production levels.     Please note that this role requires a willingness to travel throughout Central and Western Minnesota, Northern Iowa, and Eastern Dakotas.
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    
    
    
    • Safely operates medium to heavy equipment.
      
    • Works closely with other crew members using hand signals to coordinate work and ensure safety.
      
    • Performs daily inspection and maintenance and ensures that equipment is in safe, proper working order including fluid checks and proper lubrication.
      
    • Notifies supervisor when equipment needs maintenance and repair.
      
    • Keeping equipment clean and preparing equipment for transport on flatbed when needed.
      
    • Maintain orderliness, cleanliness and safety at jobsite.
      
    • Follow Supervisor's instructions closely.
      
      Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
      
      
      
      • Understand basics of equipment mechanical's.
        
      • Experience running heavy equipment is required.
        
      • Understand and adhere to all safety regulations.
        
      • Understand and adhere to the Personal Protection Equipment requirements.
        
      • An unwavering focus on safety.
        
      • OSHA
        
      • Willingness to travel throughout Central and Western Minnesota, Northern Iowa and Eastern Dakotas.
        
        Work Environment/Physical Demands:
        
        
        
        • Walk, bend, kneel, lift, stretch and sit.
          
        • Work outside in all weather conditions.
          
        • Effectively handle lifting of various objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
          
        • Regularly work extended - overtime hours, outdoors and in a variety of weather conditions at all project locations.
          
        • Travel is required.
