Primary oversight of student operations staff in preparation for, service during and post event related operations. Duties: Facility Operations 50% 1. Serve as primary facility contact with Premium Events and other rentals at Stadium. 2. Assist with room lay out designs and communicate with all stakeholders with any special requirements related to catering, power distribution, audio-visual and rental companies. Complete post event reports. Coordinate HVAC and Lighting schedules with Mechanics group. 3. Coordinate daily operations and seasonal task supervision while providing input on repairs, maintenance practices and facility improvements. 4. Assist with building maintenance, supply orders and event conversions 5. Assist in implanting Emergency Action Plans and training staff for successful response. Events 30% 1. Gopher Football game and large-scale stadium event planning and execution including facility inspections, staff briefings, quality control audits of student personnel and hired custodial and security contractors. 2. Assist in implementing Stadium's Sustainability program. Management 20% 1. Schedule student crews by utilizing workforce management software and assist in reconciling premium event payroll expenses after each premium event. 2. Oversight of contracted third party vendor for maintenance and repair of floor cleaning machines, food service equipment, high window, overhead doors, etc. 3. Contribute significantly to both operational and event expense budget management. Qualifications Required Qualifications: BA/BS or a combination of related education and work experience to equal four years. Ability to work nights and weekends as scheduled with large or complex events. Preferred Qualifications: BA/BS with at least two years of experience in an environment that includes planning, assignment and supervision of employees. Experience in event planning and/or facilities operations with multiple spaces within intercollegiate athletics. Degree in Sports Management or related field.
