Custom Mold & Design, a Velosity Company is hiring a CNC Hard Mill Machinist on 2nd shift to support our manufacturing facility in Forest Lake, MN. This position is responsible for machining precision hardened mold components with Rockwell hardness ranging from 42Rc to 62Rc.
CMD is committed to supplying employees with top-of-the-line equipment including high-end hard mill CNC's, inspection tools, and fixtures to ensure optimal results. This position reports to the Operations Manager and has no direct reports.
This is an on-site position.

Work Conditions & Physical Demands:This is a non-smoking, professional tool shop with normal lighting, climate control. The shop environment may be subject to airborne contaminants and chemical odors as would be customary in a tool making and/or molding shop. In this role, you must be able to regularly life 30-50 lbs., perform repetitive tasks, possess manual dexterity, be able to stand for long periods of time (up to 10 hours per day), ability to wear safety equipment such as safety glasses, and see well (either naturally or with corrections).
