Physical Therapist Location: Stevensville, MI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,891 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 6 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Healthcare Specialty: Rehabilitation Services Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day - 6 days per week Hours per Shift: 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Physical Therapist License - State required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA or ARC required Must-Have: - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from an accredited physical therapy program - Physical Therapist License - State required - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - AHA or ARC within 90 days required Description: Provide therapy to patients based on individual needs and medical direction. Educate patients and caregivers and arrange for adaptive equipment as needed. Perform evaluation procedures to assess the level of disability regarding goals and treatment plans. Develop treatment programs and provide education to restore and maximize patient function. Assess the effectiveness of treatment and modify goals or methods as needed. Document evaluations and treatment in compliance with standards and procedures. Instruct and train other rehabilitation staff and medical personnel regarding patient needs. Participate in ongoing process improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives. Demonstrate productivity as indicated by departmental standards. Improve skills by applying continuing education and developing new concepts of patient care. Physical demands include the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull various weights.
