CT Tech Location: Novi, MI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,772 per week Shift Information: Nights - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Profession: Allied Health Specialty: Computed Tomography Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 5x8's Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 2 years of CT experience required License: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) Certifications: BLS, Advanced Registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry-eligible Must-Have: - Experience with GE and Phillips equipment - Workstation experience - Strong customer service skills - Ability to work in a team environment Description: Under general supervision, specializes in the performance of computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients. May perform general diagnostic radiology examinations. Explains examination procedures to patients and prepares them for the examination. Reviews clinical data on requisition and performs appropriate examinations. Obtains additional information about the patient's medical history as necessary. Prepares procedure room and regularly replenishes stock such as linen and related supplies. Analyzes anatomical structures of patients, sets up equipment, and performs the CT scan. Manually controls the equipment to obtain the proper diagnostic information from the area of the body being studied. Administers intravenous contrast media including utilization of power injectors. Monitors patients for possible reactions and provides immediate care if a reaction occurs. May prepare and set up sterile equipment, monitors, and supplies for procedures. Ensures adequate supplies are on hand and properly stored. Assists in performing complex sterile diagnostic procedures such as biopsies. Performs all imaging procedures while demonstrating radiation protection principles. Resolves any image exceptions and ensures high-quality image delivery into the PACS. Completes all study indexing in the Radiology Information System (RIS). Reviews and confirms clinical protocols with the Radiologist before performing studies. Demonstrates standards of excellence including open communication and respect for diversity. Performs all necessary documentation in the medical record and within the RIS to support clinical and billing functions. May work in various settings and may be exposed to radiation and high-voltage equipment. Occasionally may lift and/or move equipment and/or patients.
