Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1 years School Social Work experience required. A full-time school social worker position is available in Haslett, MI, supporting K-12 students within a dynamic school setting. This contract role begins as soon as possible and continues through June 5, 2026, providing a valuable opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student well-being and success. Responsibilities: Support students academically, socially, and emotionally by addressing barriers to learning Provide individual and group counseling services tailored to student needs Collaborate with teachers, families, and community resources to develop intervention plans Conduct assessments and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school policies Promote a positive and inclusive school environment advocating for student welfare Qualifications: Fully licensed LMSW through the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) Full Approval or Professional Certification as a School Social Worker through the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) No to limited license social workers are not eligible for this onsite role Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills Previous experience working with diverse student populations preferred Location:This position is based onsite in Haslett, MI, allowing direct collaboration with staff and students within the school district.
