Compensation Estimated Weekly Pay: $7,390–$7,790 Job Details Position: Locum tenens CRNA – General Anesthesia (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) Location: Charlotte, MI 48813 (Mid-Michigan) Setting: Level IV trauma center (2 ORs, 1 endoscopy suite) – perioperative and endoscopy cases included Start Date: April 1, 2026 End Date: July 1, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks (with potential for future PRN dates) Shifts per Week: 5 (sporadic PRN coverage) Shift Duration: 8.5-hour days (07:00 AM – 03:30 PM) Patient Volume: Approximately 20 surgical cases per day, including endoscopy EMR: Epic (Epic experience preferred; Epic training required prior to start) Supervision: Anesthesiologist supervision per facility protocol Open Shifts: April 3, April 13, April 16, May 11–14, May 20 (future dates possible) Job Requirements Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), Board Certified Active Michigan state license required (IMLC/Compact not accepted; candidates needing a Michigan license will be considered) Minimum 1 year of independent CRNA experience in perioperative/anesthesia practice Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications COVID-19 vaccination required Must be local and able to drive in (no flight coverage provided) Physical and 5-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (not reimbursable) Epic training required prior to start (waiver available for experienced providers) Responsibilities Provide independent, high-quality anesthesia care for a variety of surgical cases, including endoscopy and general surgery Deliver perioperative care to patients across the lifespan: pediatric to geriatric Work independently as a CRNA with anesthesiologist supervision per facility protocol Document all care accurately in Epic EMR and follow institutional policies Maintain patient safety and quality standards in a fast-paced Level IV trauma environment Participate in preoperative assessment, intraoperative management, and postoperative handoffs consistent with best practices in anesthesia and perioperative nursing Experience the best of Charlotte, MI while making a meaningful impact as a locum tenens CRNA.
