Job Description Job Details Job Location 615 - Zeeland, MI Position Type Full Time Job Shift 2nd shift Job Category Manufacturing CNC Operator I - Panels (2nd Shift) As aCNCOperator Iyou will load programs and perform operations such as sawing, drilling, and routing on the CNC machining center. Currently there areopenings for full-timeCNC Operator Iin our Panelsdivision on 2ndshift: Monday - Friday 2:30PM to 10:30PM. CNC Operator I:Starting at $21.90 per hour on 2ndshiftbased on experience. SIGN ON BONUS $1200 FOR THIS ROLE ONLY. $100 EVERY 30 DAYS YOU WORK UNTIL YOU REACH $1200. Key Responsibilities: /n - Gather material according to work order. /n - Set parts on working surface and carry out tasks such as sawing, routing, and drilling on the mill safely. /n - Perform required quality checks before, during, and after machining utilizing blueprints, calipers, height gage, etc. /n - Successfully load CNC programs, dry run and run production parts under the close supervision of a Panels CNC Mill Operator II or III. /n - Properly align and place panels/parts on CNC working surface. /n - Assist other departments as necessary. /n - Report any CNC equipment irregularities to supervision and/or maintenance personnel. /n - Complete necessary paperwork and electronic data entry in the ERP system. /n - Accurately fill out NCMR's and submit them. /n - Provide the customer with the best value including Cost, Quality, and Delivery. /n - Participate in improving our product, processes, equipment, and methods via communication of issues and opportunities to supervisors, engineers, and programmers. /n - Handle internal and external questions in a prompt professional manner. /n - Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. /n - Continually look for ways to improve job efficiency and performance. /n - Assist other departments as necessary. /n - Perform all reasonably related duties as assigned. /n /n Qualifications: /n - High school diploma or GEDpreferred. /n - At least 1yearof CNC experience preferred. /n - Strong attention to detail /n - Ability to workovertime. /n /n Additional Requirements: - Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations). /n Plascore is an established global manufacturer of honeycomb core, composite structures, and cleanrooms.
