Interventional Radiology locums in Michigan, centered on a high procedure mix with APP support and streamlined credentialing, designed to fit cleanly into your existing schedule. Highlights - Mix of outpatient and inpatient work, approximately 60% outpatient and 40% inpatient
- Procedural day averages 9 to 10 cases, ideal for physicians who want consistent hands on IR volume
- APP team in place with 3 full time APPs, you will supervise during daytime hours for added leverage and flow
- EPIC charting
Practice Setting - Mix of inpatient consults, inpatient emergencies, outpatient clinic visits, and scheduled outpatient procedures
- Role includes procedural coverage plus consultative IR support
- Collaborative model with supervising physicians and APP coverage integrated into daily operations
Schedule - Day coverage runs 7am to 5:30PM
- Assignment is structured in weeklong blocks across late summer and early fall
- Trauma coverage and emergency call coverage are part of the rotation
Cases and Procedures - General invasive interventional radiology procedures
- Biopsies
- Kyphoplasty
- Port placements
- Paracentesis and thoracentesis
Requirements - Must be an MD or DO
- Board Certified in Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology
- Michigan license, will consider candidates with an active IMLC LOQ, open to IMLC Physicians
- Comfort with supervising APPs during daytime coverage
Credentialing - Typically 30 days, applications are prioritized according to start date
