As our Human Resources Manager, you play a crucial role in steering our organization's HR operations towards excellence. Your leadership will be instrumental in developing and executing human resources strategies that align with our legal requirements, organizational values, and long-term objectives. You're tasked with crafting, implementing, and overseeing HR policies, procedures, and best practices that not only comply with the law but also foster a culture of growth, inclusivity, and sustainability. Beyond strategic planning, you will be the cornerstone of day-to-day HR support, ensuring our team feels valued, supported, and poised for success in our mission.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupervisory Responsibilities - Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees.
- Oversee the daily workflow of the department.
- Handle discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
- Responsible for leading and developing the HR team.
- Develop and manage team schedules and annual team goals to align with the overall company goals.
- Conduct regular and annual performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. Other Responsibilities
- Operate the organization's biweekly payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations.
- Collaborate with leadership to define the organization's long-term mission and goals; identify ways to support this mission through talent management.
- Work with management on discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Help to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) for the organization's human resource and talent management functions. Provide constructive and timely feedback on the KPIs.
- Ensure processes and procedures match with industry best practices.
- Research, create, and implement competitive compensation, benefits, performance appraisal, and employee incentive programs.
- Provide help and guidance to the entire organization by assisting with resolution of compensation, benefits, personnel conflict, and payroll issues.
- Ensure compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in human resources and talent management.
- Manage and implement employee personal/medical leave processes (i.e. FMLA, STD, LTD, etc.).
- Participate in professional development by attending networking conferences and events.
- Performs other duties as assigned.Requirements:Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field required.
- 8-10 years of human resources experience required with strategic, talent management, and/or business development experience strongly preferred.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP strongly preferred.Skills and Qualifications

- Excellent interpersonal skills and the proven ability to work well with all levels of management and staff.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Trustworthy with good judgment; exercising confidentiality in all situations.

- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Paylocity and/or other HRIS/ATS experience a plus.
- Understanding of employment related laws and regulations is a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Working Conditions
