Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Parts Picker is primarily responsible for assisting in customer service orders for shipping. The Picker will partner with the Customer Service Department and assist with pulling service parts, package all items, and ship to proper customers. The Picker may be required to record and tarck all requests and shipments. Bluebird Turf operates Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm. Our starting hourly wage is $18.00/hour, and this position qualifies for a competitive benefit package. ResponsibilitiesPicking orders as requested by customers and/or managementSealing and tagging shipments, confirming accuracy of orders, and signing pick tickets to confirmEnsure correct shipping information is attached and moving completed orders to shipping areaComplying with OSHA and other safety regulationsAssist with keeping work areas clean, neat and well-organizedUpdate records of incoming and outgoing shipmentsStores, restocks, and shelves delivery items on shop floor as necessaryReports all major or unresolved customer service requestsOther duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent1+ Year of work experience in a similar roleExcellent verbal communication skillsAbility to work harmoniously with diverse range of peopleProficient in Microsoft OfficeExposure to a fast paced lean manufacturing environmentDemonstrated detail orientation, self-motivation skills and ability to multi-taskAbility to efficiently work in a team and coordinate work with other departmentsBasic computer skillsPrevious experience working within a highly technical enviornment Strong basic math skills Compensation details: 7.24-7.25PIecd305267fdf-25660-34339694 More...
