Job Description Ford Design - Technical Operations turns design vision into reality with an obsession to detail and the art of the possible. As an integral part of Ford Global Design, we deliver theme feasibility, surface geometry, and production-launch appearance quality. The Global Design Delivery Project Manager is critical to quality delivery of the Ford Design studio. They define the approval path to deliver the design vision while also guiding and integrating Global Design to approvals of their Designs with senior leaders. Curious and creative, with an appreciation for Design and understand of complex timing, this individual is fundamental to the success of the Design. Responsibilities What you'll do... 1. Manage Global Design Studio Appearance approval process strategy and execution including executive pitches, presentations, and events. 2. Works closely with Global Design Studio leaders and partners to define, develop, and implement plans for Design Appearance approval strategy and workflows. 2. Creates, updates and manages schedules for all Global Studio executive presentations / events. 3. Coordinate Senior Management Appearance approval forums 4. Ensure Global Design & appropriate enrollment in all Appearance Approval Processes and Methods. 5. Lead Design input and approval of Studio timing and deliverables with cross functional partmers. 6. Represents Global Design Studio in cross functional forums for Design approval of templates and containment plans 7. Ensure Global Design Studio enrollment in proposed templates. 8. Ensure Global Design Studio or partner proposed timing plans meet Design best practices and logic Qualifications You'll have... - Bachelor's degree in industrial design, transportation design, mechanical engineering, or equivalent practical experience
