As a member of our clinic team as a Clinic Assistant (CA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in our Visiting Clinics, you will have a significant impact on the patients and staff that you interact with on a daily basis. You will be responsible for providing high-quality, professional, and compassionate patient care as directed by a physician or registered nurse pursuant to the mission and policies of UP Health System - Portage. The ideal candidate will be an organized and energetic team player.Required Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent required
Current CMA certification is preferred -
Certified Nursing Assistant's (CNAs) are welcome to apply and must successfully complete the Medical Assistant Program within 3 months of employment start date.
Tuition assistance available for CMA training and examination expenses.
Annual influenza vaccination or declination required
