This position is responsible for assisting in creating content, drafting communications materials, and supporting the communications team in various projects and initiatives. The position may be based in Northville, MI and reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Communications of the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in creating engaging content for digital media platforms
• Assist in drafting internal and external communication materials
• Support the communications team in various projects and initiatives
• Help monitor and analyze digital media metrics and engagement
• Assist in content creation-writing stories, social posts, content for digital media, etc.
• Assist with re-design of external website
• Support team with design and production of various internal and external events
  
  Minimum Requirements
  
  Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field
  
  Skills
  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and digital media platforms
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
