YOUR ROLE - Achieve Adhesive Technologies global quality assurance operational objectives (KPIs) by managing local leading indicator quality metrics
- Lead the day-to-day operation of quality team, participate in annual performance reviews, and aid in development of staff members.
- Drive improvement in quality process while remaining compliant to automotive customer requirements and automotive standards (ISO/IATF 16949).
- Lead and assist in the execution of customer audits, supplier audits and IATF/ISO recertification/surveillance audits.
- Maintain department budget including capital expenditures, variable and base cost operational expenses to achieve improvement goals.
- Champion and mentor production facility in Built in Quality elements such as problem solving, FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), control plan, six sigma, statistical controls, error proofing, and change control.
- Meet with customers (internal and external) and suppliers (if needed) on a regular basis to obtain the status of projects, provide direction, resolve open issues and drive improvement.
