Locums - Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts, Emergency Medicine Opening Start Date: 9/1/26Assignment Length: 3 months Schedule & Shift Details: - Approximately 10-13 shifts per month
- September shifts:
- Evenings: 3:00pm-12:00am
- Nights: 10:00pm-7:00am
- October-December shifts:
Practice Setting: - Emergency Medicine attending coverage
- Critical Access Hospital environment
- Approximately 14% pediatric patient volume
- Limited onsite specialty support
- Community/rural emergency medicine experience highly preferred
- Providers see approximately 2.5-3 patients per hour
Facility Details: - 25-bed facility
- Average daily census: 20-24 patients
- Patient population: all ages
EMR: Epic Requirements: - Board Certified Emergency Medicine - Required
- No Internal Medicine or Family Medicine candidates accepted
- Active Massachusetts license - Required
- ACLS - Required
- DEA Massachusetts - Required
- Minimum 1 year of experience - Required
- Credentialing timeframe: approximately 3-4 months
Travel & Housing: - Ideally drive-in candidates preferred
- Hospital housing provided
- Ferry transportation covered by hospital
