Principal Accountabilities: -Responsible for effective management of classroom environment. -Responsible for using innovative approaches, and instructional strategies, including the effective use of technologies, to increase student learning and confidence to learn. -Performance of other job-related duties as assigned. -Collaborate with SPED and ELL specialists to meet the specific needs of particular students. -Maintain documentation, as appropriate. -Responsible for assuring equal educational opportunity to all individuals regardless of race, color, gender, age, marital status, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, homelessness, or disability -Any other assigned duties by the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designee. Reports To: Building Principals Required Licensure: 1. Valid Massachusetts license as required by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in the appropriate grade level, preferred but not required. 2. Bilingual preferred. 3. Demonstrated experience with second language acquisition. 4. Demonstrated experience with the inclusion model.
