Registered Nurse (RN) | Wound/Ostomy Location: Salem, MA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,599 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/19/2026 About the Position Job Title: Inpatient Wound RN Profession: RN Wound Care Specialty: RN Wound Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday through Friday Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Experience: 2 years of direct wound care experience License: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher Certifications: W.O.C.N. or equivalent preferred, AHA BLS, BLS Must-Have: Wound staging VAC dressing change Completion of wound consults Management of new ostomies Description: Inpatient Wound RNs will work 40 hours per week during the day shift. Wound nurses respond to consults and manage the wound census throughout the hospital. The unit focuses on significant wounds in a community hospital setting. The clinician-to-patient ratio is two to three wound RNs on duty each day, Monday through Friday. The electronic medical record charting system used is EPIC. Floating and rotating shifts are not required. This position requires specific skills in wound care management. Preferred certification includes W.O.C.N. or an equivalent.
