Description Vascular and Interventional Radiology (VIR) is an innovative branch of medicine in which physicians treat diseases non-operatively through small catheters guided to the target by fluoroscopic and other imaging modalities. Many of these minimally invasive procedures have replaced traditional surgery. - Angiogram of Multiple System - Peripheral Revascularization - Placement and Maintenance of Hemodialysis Catheter - Nephrostomy Drainage Tubes - Placement and Maintenance of Gastrostomy and Jejunostomy Tubes - Central Line Placement - Vascular Access to Include Port Placement and Integrity - Pain Management Intervention - Paracentesis/Thoracentesis - Pre and Post-Care for Patient having Renal, Liver, and Lung Biopsy - Carotid Stenting Dress Code: Personal scrubs of any color Requirements - 2 years current Interventional Radiology/IR RN experience [REQUIRED] - Cardiac Cath and Electrophysiology experience [Required] - DEFIBRILLATION CERTIFICATION [REQUIRED] - IV skills [required] - CCU experience [required] - Meditech Expanse experience [highly preferred] - Ability to function independently and proficiently in a high stress, work intensive environment. - Attendance at all mandatory education is required. - Traveler perm address must be included in profile - Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need SCHEDULE ACCOMMODATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS NEED (10/12HR SHIFTS).
