Registered Nurse (RN) | Psych Location: Holyoke, MA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,990 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Behavioral Health Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Current state licensure as Registered Nurse Certifications: BCLS Certification, ACLS preferred Must-Have Skills/Experience: RN experience Experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting Description: As a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse, you will provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. You will develop nursing care plans in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary. You will communicate changes in patients' clinical conditions with physicians, nursing supervisors/managers, and coworkers as appropriate. You will participate in the discharge planning process. Common diagnoses/treatments include schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use disorder, and anxiety. You will be required to work with both adult and pediatric patient populations. The patient ratios are variable, with a maximum of 1:8. You must be willing to work every other weekend and float between units as needed. Dress code includes wearing blue scrubs.
