This travel nursing job offers a unique opportunity to deliver exceptional patient care while experiencing the best of Massachusetts healthcare./n /n/nMed/Surg RN Job Details – Newburyport, MA/n /n - Location: Newburyport, MA 01950 (Massachusetts nursing jobs)/n - Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)/n - Unit: Float Pool – Medical-Surgical & Telemetry/n - Start Date: February 2, 2026/n - End Date: February 28, 2026/n - Duration: 4-week RN travel assignment/n - Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a), every other weekend & holiday/n - Hours per Week: 36 (72 hours biweekly guaranteed)/n - Self-Scheduling: Yes (with management schedule balancing)/n - Estimated Weekly Salary: $2150-$2300/n /n/nRegistered Nurse Qualifications/n /n - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Massachusetts RN license preferred)/n - BLS certification required/n - Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience/n - Experience floating between Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units preferred/n - Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills/n /n/nMed/Surg RN Responsibilities/n /n - Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units/n - Float between Med/Surg and Telemetry units as needed for clinical support/n - Administer medications, monitor patient progress, and accurately document care/n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes/n - Maintain safe nurse-to-patient ratios (5:1 days/evenings, 6:1 nights; Telemetry 4:1 days/evenings, 5:1 nights)/n - Participate in self-scheduling and communicate special requests to management/n /n/n Apply now to join our healthcare team in Newburyport, MA, and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
