This part-time position involves providing high-quality nursing care during weekend day shifts, working 24 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting, providing support to a diverse patient population, and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to optimize health outcomes. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor patients for adverse reactions. Operate medical equipment, uphold standards of cleanliness and organization within the unit. Educate patients and their families on disease processes, medical-surgical procedures, and other aspects of therapeutic regimens. Participate in the development and implementation of unit policies and health guidelines. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Excellent clinical nursing skills. Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
