This role involves direct patient care and interdisciplinary team collaboration to provide the highest quality of patient services. Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and observe reactions or side effects. Instruct and educate patients and families through the continuum of care. Participate in patient discharge planning, coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, and theories. Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using healthcare software and patient databases. Ability to respond to emergency situations in a calm and effective manner. Compliance with confidentiality requirements.
