Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Job Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Varied 8-hour shifts, flexible to work varied hours as needed, part-time Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a current RRT License: Must possess a valid Massachusetts state license Certifications: - NRP - BLS (AHA) - NBRC Must-Have: - Ability to cross-train in cardiology department tasks such as EKG, Stress Tests, Holter Monitors, Event Monitors, and EEGs - Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred - Own vehicle for assignment - Skills checklist pertinent to the position (current to 1 year) - 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment Job Description: - Perform various technical duties to administer complex cardiopulmonary care treatments according to verbal or written orders from physicians. - Work within a community hospital recognized for high patient satisfaction and experience. - Provide care as part of a primary acute care setting, offering inpatient medical services, general surgery, orthopedics, maternity services, and ambulatory surgical services. - Deliver outpatient ancillary diagnostic and therapeutic services including wound care, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, and physical and occupational therapy services. - Engage in holiday rotation as required. Note: Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of the facility. Requested time off during the assignment should be noted and verified at upload, with no more than 5 days accepted.
