John Hancock Retirement is currently redefining our US Retirement business to help our customers save for retirement. This team focuses on delivering solutions that create and support engaging, streamlined experiences for our customers through digital platforms and solutions.The Product Manager will lead our US Retirement platforms in a SAFe agile delivery model, acting as the voice of the business and customer. This role aligns and prioritizes business goals with actionable results, contributing to the US Retirement strategy, vision, and OKRs.Position Responsibilities: Vision and Roadmap: Contribute to the vision and roadmap by understanding the competitive landscape and market. Identify desired outcomes and communicate the product vision in alignment with business strategy. Delivery: Own feature outcomes, ensuring alignment with business strategy and customer needs. Facilitate successful implementation by removing roadblocks. Customer CX Centricity: Advocate for the customer, ensuring their needs are central to product development and delivery. Feature Prioritization: Collaborate with Epic Owners and stakeholders to define and prioritize features, ensuring the backlog aligns with strategic goals and managing dependencies and risks. Stakeholder Management: Balance stakeholder perspectives, elaborate stories, and foster quality. Gather and share feedback to evolve solutions. Reporting: Maintain understanding of business and user needs. Manage, report, and escalate risks and roadblocks as necessary. Product Team Participation: Engage actively in team activities to promote alignment and collaboration.Required Qualifications: - Minimum of 5+ years of experience in business roles and project management.
- Previous or current SAFe Product Manager experience is highly preferred.
- Business knowledge of the US Retirement industry.
- FIS/Omni recordkeeping experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong leadership and communication skills; capable of owning deliverables and driving initiatives.
- Ability to balance strategic vision with detailed execution.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good understanding of project management methodologies and agile processes.
