Position is responsible for overall management and maintenance of the physical plant of Beverly Collaborative, which includes 3 Parishes and a School.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assure the upkeep and maintenance of all buildings, furnishings, equipment and grounds to include:
- HVAC and related building systems
- Snow removal
- Landscaping
- Develop and manage a five-year capital improvement plan for the Parish/School and oversee capital improvements to the buildings and grounds.
- Develop and manage a Facilities budget.
- Interact with, schedule, and evaluate the performance of all vendors/contractors/subcontractors selected for specialized projects.
- Supervise facilities personnel including developing work schedules and assisting in evaluations.
- Assure that all Parish and School equipment is clean and operational.
- Make necessary repairs to all buildings as necessary.
- Assist in the coordination and proper scheduling of set up and take down for meetings, events, worship, weddings, funerals, and others as required.
- Keep buildings safe by making sure they meet building code requirements.
- Canvass property and remove trash and debris.QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate's degree in a related field preferred. Five years of related work experience or a combination of education and work experience will be considered.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Effective skills in administration, communication (written and oral), and computer software.
- Thorough knowledge of the methods, materials and tools/equipment used in the maintenance of buildings and grounds.
- Availability on an on-call basis for emergencies as determined by the Pastor/Administrator or his designee for matters such as snow emergencies, HVAC issues, plumbing issues, utility issues and storm damage.
- Valid driver's license is required.
